Dozen of A.I duPont students, staff members, and family members gathered together in Rehoboth Beach on February 5 to raise money for Special Olympics at the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge. AIHS Dippers raised $3, 328 and counting, according to the “plungede” website.

AIHS Dippers bravely jumped into the Rehoboth Beach waters at a 41-degree water temperature and at a 53-degree air temperature, according to the plungede website.

Next year, A.I. duPont students and faculty can meet at the Rehoboth Beach for the 2018 Lewes Polar Bear Plunge on February 4.
